The county building is located at Klubgartenstraße 6 in Goslar, in the immediate vicinity of the train station. The building was finished in 1988. The large auditorium on the ground floor provides seating for 190 people (160 seats on the ground level and 30 in the gallery) and is equipped with two projection screens, a microphone system and a grand piano, as well as a wall mural by Professor Winner. Seating: at tables for 70, for screen presentations for approximately 100 and for panel discussion for approximately 120 people. The gallery can also be used in each case.
