Goslar – Historic sights & fine spirits

Experience medieval Goslar and the Kaiserpfalz (Imperial Palace) with its exhibition about travelling emperors and Goslar’s imperial history. Then visit the nearby monastery estate Wöltingerode. During a guided tour of the historic distillery, the production of spirits is demonstrated and participants can sample of the finished product in the vaulted church cellar. After the tour a meal in the adjacent “Klosterkrug” restaurant is recommended. Goslar – Tradition & the old art of brewing

During the guided city tour „On the tracks of the Goslar Gose“ the old art of brewing will be re-lived. You will stroll past traditional brewing locations and experience the history of brewing Gose beer with a Gose master brewer. Besides sampling the beer and specialties of the region you will receive a Beer Specialist Certificate. Dinner consisting of specialties revolving around Gose beer is also included. Included (duration approx. 4 - 5 hours): Guided city tour "On the tracks of the Goslar Gose" (Duration approx. 1.5 hours) Seminar on the art of brewing our traditional Gose beer with “Beer Specialist Certificate” Sample of Gose beer, Gose bread & drippings (Duration ca. 1.5 Std.) Meal “Gose Beer Specialities” A full day programme with a 4 to 6 hour beer seminar (lecture plus brewing demonstration) can also be arranged upon request.

An entertaining guided city tour about all kinds of jolly, interesting and boozy facts on eating and drinking in the Middle Ages. (duration approx. 2 hours)

Sumptuous Goslar– Historic Town & Modern Art

Guided city tour through the historic Old Town and visit in the Mönchehaus Museum of Modern Art concluding with a sumptuous repast in the extraordinary house, one of the most prestigious museums of modern art. (Duration approx. 2.5-3 hours)

You hold the following part of the meeting right in the forest Challenge your participants at the Sky Rope Course. Personal limits will be fathomed and redefined. Trust, teamwork and responsibility as well as courage and initiative are in the foreground. Ingenuity is needed in constructing a raft at the Oker because your participants will not want to sink during the subsequent raft trip.

"Light & Darkness" at the Rammelsberg

During the hands-on guided tour „Light and Darkness" you will experience the Roeder Gallery with all your senses: deep darkness and flickering light, silence and crunching footsteps or the sound of dripping water. Stories about the Rammelsberg mine ghost and reports of the danger, fears and pride of the Rammelsberg miners create a special atmosphere. Walking through a 200- year- old system of galleries, you will pass huge water wheels, the pre-industrial energy-producers for water pumps and ore extraction. Technically perfectly thought out, the Roeder Gallery is considered a masterpiece of late 18 th century mining engineering. After the tour a refreshing "Tscherper meal", reminiscent of old mining traditions, is awaiting you in the historic underground surroundings. History to touch and feel.
