Adventure at the World Heritage Site Rammelsberg

What else do you want – exciting exhibitions, huge underground water wheels and a rumbling miner’s train? Maybe even fool’s gold and miner’s certificate? Kid’s birthday parties at the Rammelsberg are exciting and educating at the same time. You can book a treasure hunt at the old ore mine or complete a miner’s training. The offerings for the whole family are diverse and especially kids and teens will have great fun.

Exploring colourful metal salts at the Roeder Gallery with magnifying glasses, scooping ochre and painting with it, crafting ghosts and giving them an underground try, determining minerals – all these experiences raise students’ interest and creativity. Teachers can choose between 3 different hands-on guided tours and workshops: “Light and darkness”, “The colours of the mountain” and “Knight Ramm”.
